Online sessions with Hypnocube video

Every online session in Hypnocube gets its own private video room. There's nothing to connect and no Zoom account to set up. Your client joins in their browser from the link in their emails.

How your client joins

• The link is in their emails. When an online session is booked, from your booking page or by you, the join link goes in the client's confirmation and reminders.
• No app or account. The link opens in their browser on a phone or computer. The browser asks to use the camera and microphone.
• It opens 15 minutes before the start and closes 30 minutes after the end. A client who opens it early sees when they can join.
• If they arrive first, the room tells them it's waiting for you.

How you join

On Today, or in the session's panel on Schedule, click Join call. The call opens in its own tab, so you can keep the script open in Session mode in your first tab. You can open the room from 30 minutes before the start to check your camera and sound. If a session runs long, the call keeps working, and either of you can reconnect after a dropped connection.

Privacy

• Nothing is recorded. Recording and transcription are switched off for every room.
• The room shows your client by first name only. Stream, which runs the video, is never given a name.
• Each room is only for that session. The link can't be used to change or cancel the booking, and it stops working when the session is cancelled.

The video runs on Stream (getstream.io). See the Privacy Policy for more. Hypnocube video isn't covered by a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement. If you need one, use your own HIPAA-ready meeting link as below.

Moving or cancelling a session

• Moving a session keeps the same link. It opens at the new time.
• Cancelling a session closes its room, and its link tells your client it was cancelled.
• Changing a session to in person, or giving it another link, closes its room too, and its link tells your client the session has moved. If it comes back to Hypnocube video, it gets the same link again.
• Marking a session completed or no-show closes its room to new joins. A call already running carries on.

Using your own meeting link instead

If you'd rather use Zoom, Google Meet or Doxy, save your link in Settings → Booking → Video. Online sessions then get your link instead of a Hypnocube room. You can also type a different link for one session when you book it.
